Simple, transparent pricing
All features included on every tier. Unlimited members, instructors, and students — you only pay for aircraft.
Hobbstack pricing is a flat monthly rate per aircraft — never billed per flight hour, per user, or per booking.
Every plan includes every feature.
No “upgrade to unlock” on dispatch chaining. No “Enterprise-only” on QuickBooks sync. Solo, Pro, and Enterprise ship the full platform — tiers differ by aircraft count, not by feature gate.
Every paid plan includes a 30-day free trial — card on file at signup (industry standard), but you won't be charged until day 30. Pay monthly with no forced annual contract, or save 2 months with annual prepay.
Every student pilot, free
Sponsored by their school or club on every paid tier — no per-seat fee, no roster cap.
Priced low enough for small clubs to say yes — and fair enough to keep me building.

Aviatize
Aviatize Core lists at €29 per aircraft/month billed annually, unlimited users. Their US-facing site markets the same rate as "from $29/aircraft/month", which is the figure shown here — it is their marketed dollar rate, not a live currency conversion. Annual commitment is required at that rate; the Plus and Premium tiers are unpriced, and onboarding bundles run €0–€5,000 one-time.

$145/mo
AircraftClubs
$12/aircraft/month on Idle (scheduling) and Half-Throttle (+maintenance), plus $6/month per instructor or extra billable resource. Full-Throttle — the tier closest to Hobbstack's scope, adding flight logging and accounting — is $18/aircraft. Unlimited members; an unquantified volume discount applies above six aircraft, so figures at larger fleets are list-rate upper bounds.

MyFBO
MyFBO is priced à la carte: a $59/mo C.O.R.E. base plus per-module fees, with scheduling and dispatch billed $1.50–$6.50 per resource. The figure shown models their cheapest scheduling + dispatch configuration ($59 base + about $3 per aircraft) — it is a floor, not a quote. A realistic school stack (customer accounting $25, service orders $50, inventory $30) adds $25–$105/mo, so the total depends entirely on which modules you select.

Pilot Partner
Partnership only. $14.95 solo · $12.95/aircraft (2-6) · $9.95/aircraft (7+, whole fleet re-rates) · unlimited members · annual billing is 10× monthly (2 months free). Unchanged since 2020.

Flight Circle
Scheduling only. $10/month per aircraft or simulator, with no base fee and unlimited members and instructors. Accepting card payments is optional and billed by a third-party processor (1.09–2.9% + $14.95/mo) — that fee is the bank's, not Flight Circle's.

Every price here is public, sourced, and dated
At 5 aircraft, Hobbstack is $79/month with unlimited instructors and students included. The 6 alternatives we track that publish a rate run $50–$145/month at the same fleet size — each read from that vendor's own pricing page and linked, with the date, beside the figure in the calculator above (last checked August 4, 2026). Pilotbase (Flight Schedule Pro) publishes no pricing at all — you have to request a quote.
We are not the cheapest option on that list and we don't claim to be. What we do claim is that you can see the whole number before you talk to anyone, and that it never moves for people: AircraftClubs bills per instructor on top of the per-aircraft rate, and Hobbstack never does.

Pricing FAQ
How does pricing actually work?
Free Personal is $0/mo forever for individual pilots flying with no organization — personal logbook, currency, weather briefings, and weight-and-balance for one personally-owned aircraft. Solo is $19/mo for an organization (partnership, owner-operator, discovery-flight provider, or single-aircraft training op) running one aircraft, with the full multi-user platform. Pro covers 2-50 aircraft on a smooth marginal-per-unit schedule — the per-aircraft price drops as your fleet grows. Enterprise covers fleets of 51 aircraft and up and is quoted from $1,199/mo. Use the calculator above to see your exact monthly cost.
Will I get hit with per-user, per-instructor, or per-transaction fees?
No. Unlimited members, instructors, students, and staff at every paid tier — you only pay for aircraft and simulators. There are no per-seat, per-instructor, per-flight-hour, or per-transaction surcharges. If you turn on online payments, your members pay on your own Stripe account and Stripe takes its standard processing rate out of that account — Hobbstack doesn't set that rate and doesn't mark it up, and we add no charge of our own on top of it. The number you see in the calculator is what you pay Hobbstack.
If I collect member payments through Hobbstack, what does it cost — and what happens if a member disputes a charge?
Payments run on your own Stripe account, so Stripe's standard processing rate comes out of that account. Hobbstack doesn't set that rate, doesn't mark it up, and adds no charge of its own on top of it — that zero markup is the permanent promise. The trade worth knowing before you switch it on: because the money lands in your account, reversals land there too. If a member asks their card company or their bank to pull a payment back, Stripe takes the reversed amount plus its own dispute fee out of your Stripe balance when the reversal is opened, before it's decided. Hobbstack doesn't advance or cover those amounts. One thing that doesn't depend on whose account is charged: a reversed card payment can be answered with evidence through Stripe, but a reversed bank-account payment generally can't — the bank networks treat those as final, so it's settled with the member directly. Your own Stripe account may also carry Stripe's own account fees, such as payout fees; those are Stripe's, and none of them are ours. Online collection stays off until you turn it on, and you can leave it off and still use Hobbstack to track what every member owes. Full language in Terms section 5.4.
Does Hobbstack charge per flight hour or per booking?
No. Hobbstack never bills per flight hour, per Hobbs hour, per booking, or per reservation. Your subscription is a flat monthly rate based only on how many aircraft and simulators your organization operates — fly them 10 hours a month or 300, the price is identical. Hobbstack records Hobbs and tach time to power your own member billing and maintenance tracking, but hours flown never affect what you pay Hobbstack.
I'm migrating from FSP, Pilotbase, AircraftClubs, or Flight Circle. Is there a switch discount?
Yes — 50% off your first 12 months on any paid tier (Solo, Pro, or Enterprise), monthly or annual billing. Upload a screenshot or PDF of your current account (an invoice, dashboard, or member roster works) during signup; in most cases it verifies automatically in seconds. Edge cases route to a quick manual review (typical turnaround under 24 hours). Enterprise customers get the discount applied to the negotiated contract during sales onboarding. Full eligibility and timing details in our Terms (section 5.1).
How does the trial work, and can I pay monthly?
Free Personal is $0/mo forever — no card, no trial mechanic, just sign up and use it. Paid plans get a 30-day free trial: card on file at signup (industry standard), but you won't be charged until day 30; cancel before then and the card is never touched. Every paid plan is month-to-month by default with no minimum commitment — annual billing is offered as an optional discount (pay for 10 months, get 12), never as a requirement.
Can I cancel, switch plans, or export my data?
Yes to all three. Cancel any time in two clicks from the billing page — no phone call, no retention dance. Switch between Solo, Pro, and Enterprise whenever you need (or add and drop aircraft mid-cycle); your data carries forward intact. Export everything (logbook, billing history, fleet records, member roster) as CSV, PDF, or JSON in one click — or via our public REST API on every paid tier. Data-retention details after cancellation are in the Terms; contact support@hobbstack.com if you need a specific retention guarantee for compliance.
Who am I trusting with my flight school's operational data?
Hobbstack runs on Railway (US-east region) with daily PostgreSQL backups, encryption at rest, and TLS for everything in transit. Auth is JWT in httpOnly cookies (never localStorage, never URL parameters) — that's been the choice since day one, so no migration debt. Refresh tokens rotate on every use with reuse-detection: if an old refresh token shows up after rotation, the whole session chain is revoked, so a stolen token can't be replayed. Permissions are capability-based rather than role-name based, with allow-list enforcement on every protected endpoint — customized admin roles can't accidentally bypass checks, because the check asks "does this user have this capability?" not "does this user have this role name?". CSRF protection is double-submit-cookie pattern on every mutation. Auth-endpoint rate limiting fails closed (a Redis outage rejects login attempts rather than letting them through). Sensitive integration tokens (QuickBooks Online OAuth, for example) are Fernet-encrypted at rest with quarterly key rotation. Error logs scrub PII before they're written — no emails, names, tokens, or payment data leaks into observability surfaces. Payment flows route through Stripe (and Stripe Connect Express for org-side collection) — we never see or store card data, and members enter cards on Stripe's hosted page, not ours. Full data-handling shape, retention policy, and subprocessor list in our Privacy Policy and Terms. For FAA electronic recordkeeping compliance, PCI DSS scope, and privacy regulation details, see our Security & Compliance page at hobbstack.com/security — and if your IT or compliance team needs a deeper writeup before purchase, email support@hobbstack.com and we'll send one.
What does support look like?
Email support at support@hobbstack.com on every tier — typical response within one business day, often same-day. Onboarding for any new org includes hands-on help moving your existing data over: aircraft, rates, member roster, recurring schedule blocks, currency state. Enterprise tier adds a dedicated onboarding contact and a priority support queue.
I have a weird situation — military aero club, partnership of three, Part 141 with a parent organization. Does Hobbstack fit?
Probably yes — the platform is built generic enough to absorb most aviation org shapes without forcing them into a flight-school-shaped workflow. Military aero clubs: per-member dues plus per-hour flight billing both supported; capability-based permissions let you delegate without giving full admin. Aircraft partnerships of 2-N owners: Solo ($19/mo, one shared aircraft) or Pro for multi-aircraft partnerships, with member-level cost tracking (per-partner automatic cost-split is on the roadmap; currently handled via billing categories). Part 141 with a parent organization: each entity gets its own org and pays its own per-aircraft subscription, and member accounts can belong to multiple orgs (one login, multiple rosters). Solo owner with one personally-owned aircraft and no org: Free Personal covers the logbook, currency, weather, and W&B side. If your shape isn't in the list, email support@hobbstack.com — happy to talk through fit before you commit.
What's actually shipped in Enterprise today versus on the roadmap?
Shipped today: 51+ aircraft pricing, dedicated onboarding contact, priority support queue, capability-based admin role customization, public REST API access (on every paid tier), full data export in CSV/PDF/JSON, and the ability to negotiate annual contract terms with your migration discount applied. On the active roadmap: SSO/SAML, white-label email branding, and custom SLA contracts above the standard support tier. If a roadmap item is a deployment blocker for you, reach out — we can align timing with your rollout or build it into your contract.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards via Stripe on monthly plans. ACH and invoiced payment are available on annual prepay (Pro and Enterprise) and on every Enterprise contract.
